Sandi was born in Massachusetts and lived there until she got married in 1976. She moved to Vermont shortly after getting married. She attended elementary school in Gardner, Massachusetts, and graduated from Narragansett Regional High School in Templeton, Massachuestts. She graduated from Castleton University, Vermont, with a BA in psychology, and she also majored in special education and elementary education.
Sandi has been a member of Christ the King Parish since 1978. She served as co-director of religious education from 2015 to 2021 before becoming director. "What I enjoy most about being the director of religious education is preparing the second graders for their first communion", said Sandi. She is also the second grade teacher at Christ the King School, where she has taught since 1998.
Sandi and her husband, Tom, have two daughters, Melissa and Sara. Melissa lives in Williston with her husband, Tony, and their two sons, Caleb and Cameron. Sara lives in North Carolina with her husband, David, and their son, Braden.
